DEMOS!
ryan and i have two other new bands and we recorded demos for them in the last two weeks. the first is a pop punk band called pretty hot where i play drums (poorly), ryan plays bass, and cathy (who used to be in pitfall!) plays guitar and we all sing. the demo tapes/cd-rs are going to be really hot because our friend and roommate sparky did some amazing comic-style illustrations for the song lyrics/descriptions. they’re so good. i did a little dance around the room when i saw them. the other band is a metal/hardcore band called deus ex machina with roommate mike who used to play drums in the k10 prospect and bodyhammer and daniel who plays bass in the k10 prospect. we just recorded 3 songs with our friend chris common and i’m really excited about them.
