I can’t find any info on your Gilman show on their website. Do you know anything? Like the time of the show and all of that.

  2. Derek says:

You guys HAVE to come to Cleveland! Try getting a small place like Peabodys, Grog Shop or Phantasy!

  3. @Derek, @m4r1j4v45cr1p7:

We just played in Cleveland! It was awesome. We played in a church hall that was arranged through friends in Cleveland. We like playing at formal venues (and are playing some of those on this tour), but shows that aren’t at bars or clubs can often work out better for everyone. For instance, in Cleveland, the space was huge and it gave lots of people space to get crazy or chill depending on their comfort. Also, the door money went to support us on our tour and also some local organizations that provided food for low-income folks who need it. In many cases, cutting out the overhead of a club or venue means that both the bands and the community benefit. Shows at spaces that don’t frequently have shows can be hard to find out about (I know this is definitely the case for me in Chicago), but we try to post as much info as we have on our website, so please just watch the upcoming shows for when we’re coming to a place near you. Thanks for your support and excitement!

  4. Kira says:

Please, please, please come to Florida (preferably the Tampa Bay area) at some point! I’d love to see you guys!

  5. Derek says:

Aw, man. Too bad I missed the show :(. Ah well. I am DEFINITELY coming to your next show in Cleveland. Also, you’re very welcome for the support. You all deserve it. Seriously, you produce some of the best music I have EVER had the pleasure of listening to. Plus the fact that you give away your music is just awesome. I’m still going to buy Share What Ya Got on iTunes, though. I like supporting my artists. :D.

  42. Theo says:

You cancelled your philly show? 🙁

  43. @Matthew: Thanks. It seems like more and more folks are finding out about shows this way, but I think you touched on the fact that it takes a concerted effort to make sure those outside of your immediate social network find out about it.

  44. @Theo: Sorry. I think we chose to go somewhere we hadn’t been before since we were able to come to Philly earlier this summer.

  45. Oscar Godson says:

Please, please, you know when you will be coming to Portland, OR?!

  46. Dubrovski. says:

    Hey there!

Do you will come to Europe again? I wanted to see you on 2006 but I was living in Spain…

    See you!

  47. wardad says:

    D,O,

I admire your ethos and love your tunes but you don’t seem to understand the depth of support y’all have out here. People love your music and want to enjoy an evening singing with you. You just have to play more shows.

I know its difficult, all living in different parts of the country and I know you have no interest in being “BIG,” but as artists you must understand that when you put out your tunes, and people take/buy them, it can be quite a personal experience, particularly when you “speak” to/for/of them.

But go back and read the comments, friends. These folks aren’t even made aware that you’re coming to town and this website is totally inadequate for publicizing your gigs. What I’m saying is that it is far too demanding to ask folks to come back to this site once a week or a month to find out if you might be tripping through town.

Like I said, I respect what you do. I just ask that you think about the depths to which you touch people out here in ‘merica and maybe consider a more thorough approach to letting everyone know where, when, and how – we know who and why.

Peace and thanks for “Sharing what ya got.”
    ward

  48. Andrew says:

Is there anywhere I can get more info on the Toronto show? Mostly just the time of the show, but stuff like a website for the steelworker’s hall would be sweet. I can’t seem to find one.

  49. Lily says:

    Wanna come to Jersey sometime?
    …..
    …..Please?

  50. Geoff says:

Halifax, Nova Scotia would really like to see you guys.
